Lunch: Salad – 3 c. spinach, ¾ c. cucumber, 1 avocado; dressing – 5 sun-dried tomatoes, ½ red pepper, 1 roma tomato, 1 lemon, some water
Dinner: Smoothie – 3 bananas
Post Supper Snack: ½ c. cashews
After posting last night, I went out and had drinks for the first time since starting the challenge. I took it slow because I have read that alcohol pretty much goes straight into your blood stream when you’re raw, not to mention I have a lot less calories going on, but it went well. The first glass of wine was just fine, after the second I was feeling it, and after the third I was quite on my way, but still not so drunk as to have a hangover today in any way. I feel as awesome as a rainbow, so I’d say that was a success. Yay!
Today was a “pumped-for-life” kind of day. That may or may not involve having a 1 person dance party all morning in your living room. Okay, it does involve that. The feeling lasted all day and I almost didn’t know what to do with myself because I was so full of energy and good vibes. As an aside, it has been a long time since I’ve felt that good and it was pretty incredible. For the sake of full disclosure, it may have also been partly due to the fact that I worked on some of my own projects that I have on the go and that generally makes me feel like somebody amazing. Like Judith Thompson maybe… except I don’t know if she’d bust out the moves like me.
Anyways, nothing says awesome like a PJ dance party in your bare feet. It was a great day, to say the least.
On top of that, I had the best broomball game of the season so far. I think my legs lasted longer than they have been and I was playing with much more adrenaline-fueled skill. I didn’t hesitate to get in the corners, laid down an awesome one-timer and did some stuff with the ball that I haven’t been able to pull off all year. So yeah, awesome day for me… I hope you all had some sweetness going on in your lives today too!
